SPECIAL REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS

Catalog description

This course is designed to give the students the basic knowledge of a variety of commercial refrigeration systems. Topics include expandable refrigeration evaporator systems, combination spray and compressor system, open cycle ammonia, CO2 pellets, vortex tubes, reach in coolers, and soft serve ice cream machines. Upon completion, students should be able to perform general troubleshooting and maintenance on various commercial refrigeration systems. Prerequisites As determined by college NORTHEAS
