In this course you will evaluate and explore factors that contribute to effective clinical supervision in psychology. Through the course, you will review several key areas of focus. You will examine the role of clinical supervision and its relationship to practice, including an in-depth review of how it functions, the factors present that may create issues as well as strengthen its purpose, significant diverse and multicultural perspectives within clinical supervision, and the necessary legal and ethical considerations and responsibilities for its practice and the nature of risk management.
