Catalog description

In this course students will evaluate the psychologist’s role in older adult care management. This will include an overview of psychological assessment and evaluation as applied to older adults as well as therapeutic techniques and interventions related to aging for individuals, groups and families. Students will analyze ethical considerations in gerontology practice as well as evaluate areas of practice such as clinical settings, government and nonprofit agencies, and long-term care options.
