Multicultural Perspectives of Aging

Catalog description

In this course, students will examine multicultural influences on the aging process of individuals. Students will evaluate attitudes toward aging and well-being, social support, older adult care, and end-of-life issues. Gender and ethnic differences in aging experiences will be evaluated. Students will analyze and address concerns related to special populations of older adults.
