Psychology of Aging

Catalog description

In this course, students will evaluate the biological and psychological changes that occur within adults over time (intra-individual changes) and the extent to which these changes occur at different rates among different individuals (inter-individual differences). Students will evaluate theories and psychological concepts on aging as well as the diverse needs of the global aging population. Students will evaluate both the personal and professional challenges of aging and the psychological implications.
