Multicultural Psychology

Catalog description

This doctoral-level course is designed to increase awareness of multicultural issues in psychology, including issues of social identity and diversity, oppression, and cultural mindfulness with a focus on theoretical models, research, practice, teaching/training, identity development, social justice, advocacy, and techniques and interventions for working with culturally diverse populations in various psychological settings from therapy to the workplace.
