Catalog description

This doctoral-level course focuses on the fundamentals of evaluating and monitoring human services programs. The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with the theory of program evaluation so you can conduct quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods program evaluations. You will further develop your abilities to collaborate with stakeholders in developing evaluation plans that ensure evaluation processes meet the needs of multiple stakeholders. You will identify the various ethical implications of program evaluation and will consider ethical considerations, cultural responsiveness, and diversity in implementing an evaluation plan and reporting results.
