Catalog description

Prerequisites: You will enroll in this course after successfully completing DCP-8001 - Scholarly Writing and Synthesis of Literature In this course, you will develop a first draft of the evidence-based and aligned problem, gap, and purpose statements and align this with an appropriate methodology and design. At this stage, the aim is not to determine or approve your research proposal since this is ultimately a discussion between you and your chair. However, the work completed during 8002 could potentially serve as a starting point for writing your dissertation/applied doctoral project. This course is designed to continue to build upon prior doctoral-level research coursework and bridge you to the pre-dissertation prospectus.
