Doctoral Comprehensive Assessment: Pre-Candidacy Prospectus

Catalog description

Prerequisites: Completed all foundational, research, and specialization courses as required by program. The doctoral comprehensive assessment is intended to give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have mastered knowledge of your discipline and have the ability to design empirical research as an investigator before moving on to the dissertation research course work and earning candidacy status. You will demonstrate the ability to synthesize empirical, peer-reviewed research in support of all assignments in this course. You will take this course only after all foundation, specialization, and research courses have been completed.
