** Transfer course offered by NT752 ** 5660. Transition of Youth with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. 3 hours. An examination of all aspects of the transition of secondary school-aged youth from educational to community-based environments. Includes the rationale for transition programming, practices and procedures, interagency cooperation, school-based vocational preparation and work-study activities. Emphasis is placed on the role of the special education teacher in the transition process. Prerequisite(s): EDSP 5600 and consent of instructor.
