** Transfer course offered by NT752 ** 5340. Supporting High Functioning Students with Autism in General Education. 3 hours. This course will provide a comprehensive overview of the characteristics and educational needs of high functioning students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It will require students to demonstrate knowledge and skills in developing an individualized educational plan (IEP) to be delivered in general education settings including curricular and instructional accomodations, social and communication skills, behavior support, and other environmental supports. Prerequisite(s) : EDSP 5310.
