Catalog description

This course provides in-depth knowledge of content and language assessment and instruction as related to diverse populations in classrooms. Methodologies that are comprehensive in the lesson plan cycle and supported with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), such as the Sheltered Instructional Observation Protocol (SIOP), drive the instruction of this course.
