** Transfer course offered by NT752 ** 6400. Politics of Educational Administration. 3 hours. This course focuses on politics as it impacts educational administration. Starting with an exploration of the political systems model as a means of analysis, the course examines educational policy development at the local, state and federal levels. The roles of change agents, interest groups, lobbyists, the media and other political players are examined. Implications for administrative behavior are discussed. Much of the analysis is conducted through case studies and study of current educational issues.
