** Transfer course offered by NT752 ** 5150. Public Economics. 3 hours. Analysis of theoretical foundations, structure and performance of public sector. Includes issues of public choice theory, market failures, taxing, spending, borrowing and subsidies. Individual readings and research required. Prerequisite(s): ECON 3550. Students may not receive credit for both ECON 4150 and 5150. Usually offered fall and spring semesters and summer II session.
