Catalog description

This course explores the principles and practices of data visualization, including effective visual communication in data-driven decision-making. Students will acquire, clean, and prepare data from various sources, using a range of visualization tools to create both static and interactive visualizations. The course covers fundamental design principles, advanced visualization techniques, and the ethical considerations necessary to avoid misleading representations. Students will develop the skills to design and build interactive dashboards, perform exploratory data analysis, and tell compelling stories with data to support decision-making.
