3 hours. Principles of announcing in non-traditional new media formats with an emphasis on microphone and on-camera performance. Script-reading, ad-libbing, interviews, and other performance needs. Practice of strong vocal performance skills, diction, pronunciation, and engaging delivery. Prerequisite(s): Must have a grade of C or better in COMM 1010 or COMM 2300.
