Capstone Seminar

3 hours (3;0;0). The Capstone Seminar is designed to be a culminating experience for MSCJ students. Students will use the knowledge obtained from prior coursework in the program to demonstrate their understanding of relevant criminological theories, administrative decision-making, policy analysis, and evaluation of research. Specifically, students will be expected to critically assess a current challenge in the criminal justice field and recommend reforms or policy changes to address the challenge. Prerequisite(s): CJUS 5300, CJUS 5301, CJUS 5302, CJUS 5303. Course Typically Offered: Fall.
