(4365) 3 hours. Examines investigative strategies, organizational models, and coordination techniques used in complex or extended criminal and civil investigations. Emphasizes interagency cooperation, scene management, protocols, and logistical considerations in incidents involving multiple interested parties, high-profile or large-scale cases, or extended timelines. Students will analyze the management of scenes such as mass casualty events, industrial fires, and coordinated attacks, with attention to evidence handling, communication, and legal frameworks. Prerequisites: Students must complete or be concurrently enrolled CJUS 4360. Course Typically Offered: Spring
