3 hours (3;0;0). Examines the application and importance of statistics and analysis in the field criminal justice. Special emphasis on descriptive statistics, elements of probability, random variables, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and regression. Prerequisite(s): Must have completed MATH 1332 (formerly MATH 1580), MATH 1342 (formerly MATH 1680), MATH 1314 (formerly MATH 1100) or DSCI 2305 (formerly DSCI 2710) with a grade of "C" or better. Course Typically Offered: Fall and Spring.
