Fundamental concepts, atomic structure, periodic table, stoichiometry, states of matter, chemical bonding, new materials, solutions, thermodynamics, reaction rates, equilibrium, electrochemistry, polymers, and nuclear reactions. Prerequisite (s) : MATH 1650 or equivalent. May be used to satisfy a portion of the Natural Sciences requirement of the University Core Curriculum.
