Topics include historical and philosophical development of modern chemistry, the environment, energy, industrial and economic development, modern materials, popular perspectives of chemistry. May not be counted toward a major or minor in chemistry. Includes laboratory. Course Typically Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
