3 hours (3;0;0). Develops specialized Spanish communication skills to better serve non-English speaking patients and clients. Focuses on improving communication skills within the context of Latino community in health care settings as well as increasing specialized content-related vocabulary. Prerequisite(s): Completion of Spanish lower division courses or equivalent; near-native fluency; or departmental permission. Course Typically Offered: Spring.
