Catalog description

3 hours. Social Work Integrative Seminar provides an opportunity to discuss and process the field practicum experience. Students integrate classroom-learned knowledge, skills, values, and theories with learning experiences from students' practicum settings. Emphasizes generalist social work methods with individuals, families, small groups, organizations, and communities in urban settings. Corequisite: SOWK 4656 (must be taken concurrently). Prerequisite(s):Completion of all professional core generalist practice courses (1000 to 4000 level courses) with a grade of C or better. Course Typically Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
