(4333) 3 hours. This course aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective supervisors, leaders, and administrators in social work organizations and communities. The course will cover leadership theories, strategies for leadership development, ethical practices in supervisory roles, and the responsibilities of administrators in social work organizations and as community leaders. Students will also learn to enhance their critical decision-making skills to address complex problems prevalent in social work organizations and communities. Prerequisite: SOWK 4323 (C or better); Corequisites: SOWK 3343, 4343, 3322. Typically Offered: Spring and Fall
