3900. 3 hours (3;0;0). The objectives of this course are to focus on the reciprocal influence of race/ethnicity and Christianity in the United States. The course will explore the historical development of Christianity within different racial groups, evidence about the effects of Christianity on our tendency to engage in racism/discrimination, and the development of multiracial Christian institutions and their influence in our society. Course Typically Offered: Spring.
