5090. 3 hours (3;0;0). This course considers topics in Math content and pedagogy that are not covered in other courses. Potential topics may include advanced mathematical thinking, use of technology in mathematics instruction, research-based practices in teaching undergraduate mathematics; historical development of various mathematical topics, mathematical literacy and proficiency, instructional strategies. Math content topics that promote student learning and appreciation of mathematics and are of interest to math educators. Prerequisite(s): Admission to M.Ed. program or consent of instructor.
