Credit hours: 3Description: Study of mathematical topics in the secondary curriculum from and advanced viewpoint. Discussion of the relationship between the secondary and collegiate curricula. Combinatorics. The Euclidean algorithm, congruence classes, and prime factorization. Modeling with differential equations. Conic sections. Pedagogical techniques. Prerequisite(s): MATH 3405 (formally Math 3320) or MATH 3301 with a grade of C or better. Course Typically Offered: Spring.
