Catalog description

3 hours (3;0;0). An introductory course to serve students of any field who want to apply statistical inference. Descriptive statistics, elementary probability, estimation, hypothesis testing and small samples. Prerequisite(s): TSI-Math complete; or MATH 1305 (formerly MATH 1010) or MATH 1303 (formerly 1000R) with a grade of C or better; or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1303 (formerly MATH 1000R). Course Typically Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
