** Transfer course offered by NT752 ** 2030. Introduction to Kinesiology. 3 hours. A survey of the foundations underlying the scientific basis of kinesiology. Units include curricula, historical, philosophical, sociological, psychological, physiological, biomechanical, pedagogical, and motor behavioral components essential to the study of kinesiology. Students will be introduced to the skills and knowledge required to become a successful practitioner, researcher, or teacher in the psychomotor domain. Students are expected to complete this course prior to enrolling in kinesiology core courses.
