Study of the strategic use of information technology (IT) in today's hospitality and tourism organizations. Topics include the unique needs for and characteristics of IT in the hospitality / tourism industry, the most widely used information systems in operations, management, and e-business in hospitality and tourism, as well as their impacts on organizations and the industry as a whole. Prerequisite(s) : Hospitality major / minor status ; Junior standing or consent of instructor.
