Introduction to Oceanography

4 hours (3;1;0). An introduction to chemical oceanography, physical oceanography, geological oceanography and biological oceanography. Students will learn about interrelationships between these aspects of the ocean, and how these interrelationships govern earth processes with an emphasis on critical thinking, scientific processes, environmental issues, and interrelationships among disciplines.
