Introduces basic geography and Geographic Information System (GIS) concepts and techniques to enable comprehensive analyses of geospatial data. Integrates data from multiple sources to address research in a variety of disciplines. Facilitates geospatial analyses and mapping for integration into other university courses and research projects. Prerequisite(s) : No course prerequisites, but basic computer skills are mandatory.
