3 hours (3;0;0). This course focuses on using the lens of rhetorical studies to analyze various societal issues. Analysis can focus on, but is not limited to, topics such as politics, race, healthcare, technology, sports, and culture. Specific rhetorical theory will be used in the analysis of these issues. Prerequisite(s): none. Course Typically Offered: Every Other Fall.
