Catalog description

3 hours (3;0;0). This course provides students with an awareness of positive and productive classroom management theories and strategies that allow for critical-decision making practices. Implementation of learning theories with instructional assessment approaches necessary to measure student outcomes appropriate for a multicultural and diverse population.15 hours of clinical field observation required. Required clinical course for ALL certification pathways. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education Program; successful completion of EDUC 3320; acceptance to Clinical 1 (Methods Courses in Teacher Education). Corequisite(s): Methods Courses (Clinical 1) as assigned to the student's specific certification track, district field placement. Course Typically Offered: Fall and Spring.
