Catalog description

This course is designed for first-year students who plan (or consider) pursuing a degree in physics. With their peers, students work in small groups to complete multiple introductory physics projects, which are typically open-ended problems that may or may not have a hands-on (laboratory) component. Student groups are supported by faculty mentors and share ideas and approaches with their peers.
