Catalog description

This course will familiarize students with the use of survey research methods. The course will cover practical issues in survey methods, with a focus on instrument development, mode of data collection, sampling, and minimizing survey error. The course will include hands-on development of a survey instrument, a cover letter, and a sampling plan. Prereq or Coreq: Admission to the MPH program or Public Health Graduate Certificate or instructor consent.
