Catalog description

This hands-on laboratory course introduces students to DNA sequencing methods. Students will gain experience with sample preparation, sequencing workflows, and analysis of raw data using bioinformatics tools. Graduate students will additionally design and defend sequencing protocols in the context of errors, ethics, and translational applications. Prereq: MICR 667 . Dual-listing: MICR 474 .
