Catalog description

This hands-on laboratory course introduces the principles and applications of flow cytometry. Students will learn fluorochrome selection, sample preparation, data acquisition, and gating strategies for single- and multicolor analyses. Emphasis is placed on sample quality, data interpretation, and troubleshooting. Graduate students will additionally design and defend multicolor protocols in the context of experimental errors, ethical considerations, and translational applications. Prereq: MICR 471 .
