This course will explore how new tools and capabilities in the digital revolution have impacted all aspects of global society. The course will focus on the causes and impacts of the digital divide, the effects of digital culture on the individual and society, as well as the ways in which institutions and global systems are operating and transforming in this era. It will examine both the challenges and opportunities presented in education, labor, security, and safety. Additionally, it will look at the psychological, socio-cultural, and environmental impact of digital life and social media globally.
