This course is designed to provide professionals with an overview of key components of a learning environment where educators actively integrate social and emotional learning (SEL) strategies into the curriculum. Professionals will examine the roles of not only the academic expectations and instructional strategies but also the social interactions and emotional well- being of students, and their impact on the overall atmosphere within a learning environment.
