Catalog description

Tools and techniques for processing and analyzing natural text to discover interesting patterns and extract useful knowledge for natural language applications. Methods of text preprocessing, language modeling, classification, semantic representation, and sequence labeling. Applications include machine translation, question answering, and chatbots. Prereq: CSCI 425 . Dual-listing: CSCI 621 .
