Catalog description

The course surveys fundamentals of corrosion and electrochemistry, aiming for students thorough understanding of corrosion thermodynamics, kinetics, characterization techniques, control strategies, and electrochemical systems: fuel cells, batteries, and electrodeposition. Student learning will be engaged through lectures, case studies, projects, and group discussions. Prereq: CPM 686 .
