Catalog description

In an era where AI tools are becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives, it is crucial to explore their impact on human communication and relationships. In this course, students will explore the ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) is being used to enhance and augment human communication and experiences. We will also grapple with the ethical considerations that arise and examine issues of fairness and transparency in AI systems and explore possibilities for mitigating these challenges through human-centered design. The overall goal of this class is to consider the increasing possibilities of artificial intelligence and how to use those possibilities to the better.
