Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the cellular and molecular basis of human cancers, with an emphasis on how malignant cells hijack normal cellular functions. The six major hallmarks of cancer will be the primary units of this course. Current issues, methodologies, and perspectives in modern cancer research will also be discussed. Prereq: BIOL 370 with a grade of C or better and BIOL 150 .
