Advanced understanding of the combination of genetic and statistical principles so that populations of sexually reproducing organisms can be manipulated for genetic improvement and/or to study evolutionary change, including application of frequentist and Bayesian statistical approaches. It is recommended student take ANSC 751 or equivalent before taking this class.
