Developing the skills necessary to formulate and conduct economics research. Topics include: conducting literature review and identifying gaps in the literature, formulating research questions and hypotheses, testing hypotheses, addressing causal identification issues, gathering and managing economic data, analyzing economic data, and effectively communicating research findings in both written and oral formats. 3 lectures.
