One Health: From Philosophy to Practice

Catalog description
This course explores the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health, promoting an understanding of health as an inexorably linked system requiring interdisciplinary collaborative efforts. Co-listed at UNC-CH Gillings School of Global Public Health and Duke University School of Medicine, the course includes participants from the three institutions, as well as interested members of the public. It is held once weekly in person during the evening at NC Biotechnology Center, RTP. Students can register for two or three credit hours. Students registering for three credit hours will also participate in a weekly online synchronous seminar.
