Geriatric Medicine - Coping with the Complexity of Age

This course introduces third year veterinary students to aging veterinary patients and teaches them how to manage multiple comorbidities and chronic disease. They will learn how to prioritize multiple problems, how to approach cases with divergent treatment needs, and how to support owners as they care for their aging pets.
