Modern Statistical Computing with Python

Catalog description
This course uses python to build on prior training in statistical computing. Reproducible workflows and connections to the R and SAS languages are emphasized. Students learn to read, summarize, and analyze data with python, write advanced functions, and create reproducible reports using Quarto while using version control using Git. By comparing tools and paradigms across Python, R, and SAS, students develop flexible skills for modern statistical analysis and computing.
