Catalog description

This course helps students to develop strong theoretical frames of reference within which to devise, implement, and report on sociological research activities. Students learn about philosophical and disciplinary bases of theory, how to establish relationships between theory and research, and how to evaluate theoretical positions encountered in the literature.
